Reading Challenge FY 2017

On the 3rd quarter of 2016, I met a person whom awaken my bookworm side from uber long hiatus. The side that had slipped away, unnoticed. I came to realization that I haven’t had read any adequate book along 2016 (no wonder I felt so dull loll.)

And so, I decided to put this as one of 2017 resolutions! Reading 24 books in 1 year; which means  I must read a minimum of 2 books every month. List of books I have finished are listed down below :

  1. One Small Step Can Change Your Life, The Kaizen Way – Robert Maurer, Ph.D*
  2. The Singles Game – Lauren Weisberger
  3. It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want to Be – Paul Arden
  4. Do Less, Get More – Shaa Wasmund
  5. Whatever You Think, Think The Opposite – Paul Arden
  6. Stories for Rainy Days II – Naela Ali
  7. Essays in Love – Alain de Botton*
  8. Finding Audrey – Sophie Kinsella
  9. A Compass to Fulfillment – Kazuo Inamori*
  10. The Small Print of Success – David Thompson
  11. The Little Lady Agency – Hester Browne
  12. Psych 101 – Paul Kleinman
  13. Harry Potter and The Cursed Child – J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany & Jack Thorne
  14. The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto – Mitch Albom*
  15. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up – Marie Kondo*
  16. What we Talk About When We Talk About Love – Raymond Carver
  17. Hear The Wind Sing – Haruki Murakami
  18. Pinball, 1973 – Haruki Murakami
  19. Ikigai – Hector Garcia & Francesc Miralles
  20. Never Give Up : Jack Ma in His Own Words – Jack Ma, Suk Lee (Editor), Bob Song (Editor)
  21. xx
  22. xx
  23. xx
  24. xx

My hunch, this list will consist of manymany jumbled themes, as I like to keep the options open. List will be actively updated along the way (sooo excited to fill all 24!! or more!)

Plus, am planning to write short summary and opinion for each book (haha ambitious; I rarely even write in this blog. But anyway it’s always okay to plan.) Will also update the list on my Goodreads account! https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/19133653-lunnaby

If you have any book recommendation, feel free to write it on comment box 😀

Best,

      1. Hmmm, okay, will try to read that book sih if it’s talking about engaging yourself, but actually I am not that kind of someone who reads that kind of book sih Lun, so no I havent read that Now How Good You are. I am typically kind of someone who deals with Fiction books, that’s why I write strings on my blog that involve surround its related genre.
